The role
A permanent, full-time multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer post, with either a mechanical or an electrical leaning, at Gunstones Bakery in Dronfield. The job is advertised by a recruitment firm for 2 Sisters Food Group.
What you'd do
- Repair and look after production machinery such as mixers, conveyors and packaging equipment.
- Plan maintenance work and support the team when machinery breaks down.
- Help keep the operation running smoothly across both sites.
- The work is split about evenly between reactive repairs and planned maintenance.
What they're looking for
- Strong mechanical or electrical skills.
- Experience in food production or manufacturing.
- An NVQ Level 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience of both planned and reactive maintenance.
- A flexible, positive, can-do approach.
