The role
A permanent, full-time regulatory specialist post in manufacturing, in Dronfield. It is advertised by a recruitment firm for an unnamed, globally recognised manufacturing company working in a chemical and laboratory environment.
What you'd do
- Keep track of regulatory requirements and manage key regulatory activities.
- Handle chemical and product regulatory compliance.
- Answer customers' compliance enquiries and support other departments.
- Support chemical safety work and keep product documentation accurate.
- Support sustainability and carbon reporting by collecting and analysing environmental data.
- Produce compliance data and reporting on key performance measures.
What they're looking for
- Essential: a relevant qualification or experience in chemistry, chemical sciences or a related field.
- Essential: experience in chemicals, coatings, manufacturing or another regulated setting.
- Essential: working knowledge of UK and EU chemical regulations, and experience interpreting chemical safety information and Safety Data Sheets.
- Desirable: experience in product compliance, chemical legislation, quality systems or sustainability reporting.
- You must hold a valid UK work permit.
